Environmental technology showcased at IFAT

The way we use our resources, and the related issues of recycling and waste management, are matters of global importance for both consumers and businesses alike. Ways to improve how we reuse what previously may have been regarded as ‘rubbish’ are constantly being explored, and a whole new industry sector has emerged to research, develop and manufacture the services and solutions that are needed.

Exhibitions are an important way for companies to showcase their innovations, and when it comes to environmental technology, IFAT is a world leader. It takes place from 5-9 May in Munich and CBI PR is proud to be supporting the globally-recognised construction brand, JCB Germany, at the show.

Over 2,900 exhibitors from 54 countries will be at Messe München to display their expertise in water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. A major coup for this year’s event is that the GreenTec Awards will be presented at IFAT for the very first time. Launched in 2008, the awards recognise environmental initiatives that make sound business sense, but also take technology to a different level. With live demonstrations, panel discussions, and around 200,000 square metres of exhibition space to explore, visitors will have plenty to see and do!
