Festive frivolities and forward thinking

Who can believe that yet another year has nearly flown by? The festive season is upon us again, and this is always a good time for reflection and review. 2013 has presented us with its fair share of challenges but the cleaning, FM and waste industries have come through it all by drawing on hard work and innovation.

As one year draws to a close, now is the time to look back at what was good, and not so good, about the past 12 months. Did your product launches go to plan, or could your publicity campaigns to potential new clients have been better executed? Whilst the UK economy and business confidence remains fragile, there is a growing sense of optimism for 2014, with an increase in new companies entering the market.

Time spent examining the success, or otherwise, of your communications for 2013 will be well spent in helping to formulate a stronger strategy to take into 2014. Businesses – whether service providers or manufacturers – are increasingly realising that relevant and timely communications play a pivotal role in their success, whether it’s motivating employees to go that extra mile, or explaining how new technology can deliver even higher standards of hygiene. By reviewing now, you will be more than ready to renew and refresh your communications strategies in the New Year!
