The finalists of the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2022 have today been revealed. Following a record year for entries across all 10 categories, 39 leading service providers and manufacturers have made the shortlist.
After almost two years away due to the global pandemic, the awards are set to return this spring, and with some outstanding achievements on the shortlist, it promises to be an inspirational evening.
From sustainability and innovation to the leaders and rising stars of the industry, the winners will be revealed at the glittering awards ceremony and gala dinner on the 28th April at Hotel Le Plaza in Brussels.
With over 160 entries, the judges have now selected their finalists in the 10 categories:

Commitment to Diversity
Best Initiative Raising the Profile of the Cleaning Sector
Technological Innovation of the Year

Rising Star
Editor of the European Cleaning Journal and founder of the awards, Michelle Marshall, said: “We are delighted to be back for 2022 and with a record year for entries. It was an incredibly difficult job for our judges to narrow down to a shortlist but we feel our finalists really deserve recognition for their dedication and commitment to our industry over what has been a challenging few years on the frontline.
“After almost two years apart, we look forward to bringing the great and the good of the cleaning and hygiene industry back together again in April to celebrate our finalists and reveal our well-deserving winners.”
The awards were launched by the European Cleaning Journal and are organised by the Environment Media Group. Even if you are not a finalist, or did not enter this year, the award ceremony and gala dinner offer an unrivalled opportunity for networking with people from leading businesses and organisations in the cleaning and hygiene industry.
Judges include Michelle Marshall, founder of the ECH Awards, Lynn Webster, Juan Díez de los Ríos de San Juan, and Frank Veneman, who all donate their time to supporting the event.
This year’s sponsors include Boma, Karcher, Tork, Interclean, Ceris Burns International, Jangro, Greenspeed, Truvox International, Vectair Systems, i-Team and Vermop.
Media partners include Tomorrow’s Cleaning, GSA and Services.
