Key new appointment confirms ICE’s commitment to customer service

Industrial Cleaning Equipment (ICE), the Southampton-based cleaning equipment and service specialist, has appointed Lee Williams to the key role of service director.

Williams, an engineering graduate, began his career as a gas engineer in Newcastle. He then went on to fulfil a variety of different management roles within the service departments of utilities companies such as British Gas, Transco and the National Grid. Prior to joining ICE he spent five years as national operations manager for BSkyB, where he oversaw a workforce of over 3,000 engineers who install Sky packages for customers right across the UK.

Lee Williams said: “I am relishing my move to this ambitious and innovative company, where I feel I can really make a difference. I was attracted by the challenge the role offers me, and the drive and enthusiasm of the management team. I have been on a nationwide tour to meet all the ICE engineers and I’m looking forward to helping introduce new ways of working that will enhance the already excellent levels of service provided.”
