Julius Rutherfoord & Co short-listed for four prestigious European Cleaning and Hygiene Awards

London specialist in cleaning and soft FM services provision, Julius Rutherfoord & Co has been short-listed in four categories for the European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards 2017.

The annual awards, now in their second year, recognise the highest standards and expertise in the professional cleaning sector across Europe. The winners will be announced on 9 November at a gala dinner in Rome.

The categories that Julius Rutherfoord & Co has been shortlisted for by the judges are:

• Workforce – Excellence in Employee Relationships, Training, Diversity and Inclusion, Rewards Programmes
• Excellence in Client and Contractor Partnerships (with client, the Design Museum)
• Commitment to and Investment in Training
• Best Use of Technology by Contractors in their Cleaning Programme

In the ‘Excellence in Client and Contractor Partnerships’ category, Julius Rutherfoord has been short-listed for its partnership with the Design Museum. The world’s leading museum of contemporary design and architecture reopened in November 2016 in a unique landmark, a Grade II listed building in Kensington High Street.

Battersea-based Julius Rutherfoord was identified as best suited to provide the standard of care required for this iconic building, which combines modern and historic elements. The contract cleaning team also demonstrated a partnership approach, passion for the project and flexibility in the delivery of services.

The contract incorporates a broad range of cleaning and facilities management services including front of house gallery and facilities cleaning, back of house office cleaning, security, waste management, grounds maintenance and window cleaning.
