Including its new mapping and analysis software for noise at work, SoundPLANmanda
SoundPLAN, the leading international developer of noise mapping software, is exhibiting at Inter-Noise 2023 (20-23 August, Chiba, Greater Tokyo, Japan) at Stand 1. SoundPLAN will showcase its comprehensive software solutions and consultancy services for noise control, noise mapping, occupational health and safety, and room acoustics.
Taking place at the Makuhari Messe exhibition centre, the theme of this year’s international congress and exposition on noise control engineering is a ‘Quieter Society with Diversity & Inclusion.’
The focus of SoundPLAN’s exhibition will include presenting new software launched this year:
• Version 9.0 of its world-leading software, SoundPLANnoise, for effective assessment and abatement of noise within buildings and outdoors
• An introduction and further developments to its mapping and analyzing software for noise at work, designed for occupational health and safety experts, SoundPLANmanda 1.0.
SoundPLANnoise is the world-leading software for noise modelling and room acoustics calculations, designed for every conceivable area of application. This encompasses sound propagation within buildings, including room acoustics, industrial and traffic noise, city planning and much more. Its versatile tools from noise modelling, calculation, tabular documentation of results and informative noise maps make it the all-round software for effective noise control projects.
SoundPLANmanda is the perfect tool for occupational health and safety experts, helping them to assess environmental hazards including harmful noise emissions. Workplaces can now map and analyze the levels using this new, state-of-the-art software.
Using this software, calculation of noise exposure at the workplace and risk assessment becomes an easy task. Based on measurement data, colored noise maps are generated to visualize the distribution of the noise levels over the area using fast interpolation algorithms. This saves time-consuming, manual numerical analysis. Meaningful tables and graphic outputs are created at the push of a button, which allows you to present and document your results professionally and clearly.
To protect people, health and safety regulations and international and country specific noise rules must be adhered to, and the software’s evaluation is based on these workplace standards.
