Sparkling start to the academic year for UK contract cleaning specialist

KGB Cleaning and Support Services has gone back to school in style this summer by adding another two educational contracts to its extensive client portfolio.

As one of the UK’s most reputable contract cleaning companies, KGB is delighted to add both Light Hall School in Solihull and Worcester College of Technology to its northern portfolio. Both educational facilities are well recognised in their sectors and are welcome additions to KGB’s established client list.

KGB’s northern region boasts a formidable 85-strong customer base with an extensive mix of public, private and commercial clients. In addition to these two superb educational establishments, new contracts have also come from Parrs Wood High School in Manchester, Redcar and Cleveland College in the north-east, and St Peter’s School and Lode Heath School in Solihull, which are all the results of recent successful re-tenders.

They join Alderbrook School and Lyndon School in Solihull, South Tyneside and Hartlepool Colleges in the north-east, and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, which were all newly awarded at the start of 2013.

This makes a total of eleven educational contract wins for KGB’s northern team so far in 2013.

We know how important education is – and therefore we understand the necessity of a sparkling clean building for pupils to study in. Also most schools and colleges are now very hi-tech, so we have updated and developed ‘traditional cleaning methods’ to reflect more modern built environments, and to tailor our services to meet our clients’ ever changing needs.”

Commercially, the team has also secured business from prestigious housing associations. KGB now cleans and maintains 180 sites for Riverside Housing Association, and 74 sites for Equity Housing Group – covering a wide geographical area of the north-west. Both organisations were added to KGB’s client list as a result of successful procurement at the beginning of the year.
