SugaRich acquires Choc Nibbles creator, Sweetdreams, to expand its offering to the food sector

UK Market leader in former foodstuff processing, SugaRich, joins forces with Sweetdreams, the manufacturer of the popular Choc Nibbles sweets, expanding their remit beyond surplus food to feed.

SugaRich, Europe’s leading re-processor of surplus food products, proudly announces the successful acquisition of Sweetdreams Ltd, a renowned confectionery manufacturer based in North East England.  This strategic move underscores SugaRich’s dedication to preventing surplus food products from going to waste and further solidifies its commitment to sustainability.

This development accelerates SugaRich’s desire to expand its offerings within the priorities of food hierarchy – the end customers now being people and not just animals.  Sweetdreams adds an extra dimension with an already thriving business, product and established customer base. Adding this together with SugaRich’s technical expertise and influence as market leaders in surplus food re-use, leads to great potential for the large-scale production of desirable, sustainably manufactured product from the newly formed entity.
