Commercial organisations, local authorities, community groups and individual recycling pioneers were honoured at the twelfth annual Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management 2015. The prestigious annual ceremony, organised by letsrecycle.com, took place at the Landmark Hotel in London, on Thursday, 14th May.
The awards were hosted by one of the most recognised faces and voices in British broadcasting, Eamonn Holmes. Sponsors of each category revealed the winners of the 11 highly-acclaimed Awards – widely acknowledged as the industry’s equivalent to the Oscars.
The panel of judges agreed the following entrants were worthy of the highest accolades:

Steve Eminton, Editor, letsrecycle.com said: “Coming this year in the wake of the General Election, these awards serve to show how local authorities, industry and the third sector get on with looking after the environment even if waste and recycling issues are not being pushed by politicians.”
Keynote speaker, Sophie Thomas, Co-Director of Design, Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) shared her experience of closed loop thinking and new models for circular business.
The event was at complete capacity and provided a fantastic networking opportunity for guests from industry, local authorities and the third sector.
